Nikki Miras Mordini is a shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm. She joined the Litigation Division in 2008 in the areas of immigration, including removal/deportation, criminal law and family law.
SUMMARY
Nikki has practiced in the areas of immigration, family law, juvenile law and criminal law since graduating from law school. While in law school she worked as an intern for the Polk County Attorneys Office, the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Iowa House of Representatives. She is licensed in State Court, Federal Court and 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.

ACADEMICS
Nikki graduated with honors from Drake University Law School in 2004, where she was the recipient of several awards including the Edwin Earl Ferguson Award for Public Service, the Drake University Public Service Scholarship, the Cali Award for Academic Achievement-Women and the Law, and was on the Deans List several semesters. While in law school she was involved in the Drake Law Review as Note Editor, Moot Court Board as Vice President, Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity as Philanthropy Chair, and Drake Law Women as a Board Member.
Before starting law school, Nikki took and completed a number of courses in the Masters of Social Work program at the University of Iowa. While at Grinnell College, Nikki received the Joseph Rosenfield Scholarship and participated in numerous study abroad experiences, including a semester in Greece.
OF NOTE
Nikki has five years experience as a Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate for the Family Violence Center, Children and Families of Iowa.
